Why Alternative Dispute Resolution?

Wherever two minds co-exist, conflict resides side by side. Conflict is natural in human relationships and it should be resolved as quickly as possible leaving both parties wiser. If the same conflict is dragged into courts, it remains backlogged for years.

It is not surprising that Pakistan faces a sea of back-logged cases due largely to the long process of our judicial system. About 90% of commercial cases in Pakistan go to trial and according to one statistic, a staggering 1.5 million cases are currently back-logged in our courts. Contract enforcement in Pakistan normally requires a five to ten-year litigation process and commonly on an average 35% of any company’s assets are caught up in litigation.
